For the turn key e-commerce shop a rough timeline is as follows:

1) Essential initial information is gathered
2) Review design setup 
3) Guide you through setup of the hosting and domain accounts (1 -2 days)
4) Correct any minor changes and test for cross browser capability. 
5) Finalized email account setup and integrated into the site. (est. 2-3 days testing and modifications)
6) Inital Products and Categories are created with descriptions, options, photos (provided by you) and then tested for functionality (1-2 days)
7) The merchant account is then integrated into the site and payment testing would begin (1-4 days)
8) Payment testing, a final review of the entire site: including content, photos, links, and urls

9) You would sign off on the final version and then site would go live.
